PupCam: Revolutionizing Pet Care
Overview:
This project aims to propose a startup pitch in the realm of advanced pet care. It was completed in a group of 5 for a design course at Cornell University (MAE 4351: Interdisciplinary Design Concepts).
Developing a "Fitbit" for Dogs
We aim to revolutionize pet care with PupCam, a dog harness designed to proactively respond to dogs' needs and provide comprehensive well-being insights to owners. In a market saturated with devices offering fragmented solutions, PupCam bridges the gaps, offering a singular, holistic safety harness.
Problem:
No single device allows dog owners to comprehensively monitor their dog's well-being. Current devices singularly offer health metrics, GPS, or live video, but fall short in delivering a holistic safety net in a unified platform that includes these features, augmented with real-time image scanning and alerts for immediate health or safety threats.
Our Solution:

A holistic system that monitors your dog with an emphasis on real time safety alerts on top of a complete suite of standard lifestyle pet metrics to provide the ultimate peace of mind to the pet owner.
